I can explain why you will want to call North Carolina home.  Beautiful sunsets, a highly navigable river system leading into the sounds with the ocean beaches nearby, and lush farmlands are only a few reasons.  I work in most of Eastern North Carolina and truly enjoy showing off this amazing area.  If you want towns where Arts and Music are important, then Eastern NC is for you.  If you want a friendly place to call home, then Eastern NC is for you. Numerous markets and varied Festivals will keep you busy.  Fishing, hunting, water sports, golf, sailing, boating, and many other hobbies are part of every day life in the charming towns which are easy to access from big cities as well.  Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill residents often have homes in towns along the Tar-Pamlico, Neuse, Trent, and Albemarle Sound Rivers to escape the busy traffic for weekends and holidays.
